I was walking alone through some hidden rice fields in Bali when I chanced upon this woman who sold perfumes under a bamboo shed. We were happy to see each other, it felt strange and natural. She invited me in, offered me a banana and coconut water, and showed me around her garden of aromatic trees. We couldn't understand each other's language, but we spoke for a long time, about us and her trees, but mostly we just laughed.. a lot. I think of her often. Her kindness, her warmth and her fragrant trees.

She has been deeply engaged, as a founding member, in Dhun Jaipur, a regenerative habitat designed to maximise human potential. Once barren, today it is a 500-acre bioreserve designed for community living, continuous learning, and holistic well-being, by synthesising traditional knowledge systems and exponential technologies to leave a net-positive impact on the environment and society.
Aastha values honest conversations and is intrigued by the spectrum of human behaviour, particularly the interplay between playfulness and humour. Her aspiration is to foster a spirit of curiosity and an appreciation for the unexplored. Through her work, she aims to create mediums where people can celebrate life within and around them.
